Regal Home Care, Inc. has partnered with Health Services for Children with Special Needs, Inc. (HSCSN), a nonprofit organization that provides healthcare services to children and young adults up to 26 years old who have special needs.
Our HSCSN Respite Care involves short-term or temporary care of the sick or the disabled for a few hours or weeks to provide relief to primary caregivers. Our services include:
Homemaker
- Food preparation and storage
- Cleaning bathrooms
- Vacuuming
- Dusting
- Mopping floors
- Sweeping floors
- Bed making
- Linen changing
- Wiping appliances
- Washing appliances/dishes
- Doing laundry and ironing clothes
- Running errands e.g. shopping for food
- Escort to medical appointments (transportation services not included)
- Picking up meals
- Mailing utilities
Chore Aid Services
- Washing floors
- Washing windows and walls
- Tacking down loose rugs and tiles
- Moving items or furniture for safe entrance and exit
- Trash removal
- Removal of animal waste
- Any other activities designed to make the home environment safe and clean and enable ongoing and regular housekeeping
Personal Care Aide
- Taking care of a person who is unable to care for themselves on their own
- Cooking for the person
- Picking up heavy objects
- Bathing the person, showering, and grooming
- Using the restroom for personal hygiene tasks
- Performing simple housekeeping tasks
- Engaging in activities like reading, talking, and playing games
